Weddings

I have a professional soprano voice and can perform a wide range

of traditional wedding music (a downloadable list of my repertoire is

available here) or any song that is pertinent to you which would add

a personal touch to your special day.

I have many years’ experience singing sacred pieces, worship

songs, or hymns that are perfect for a church or civil service.

Although I’ve been fortunate enough to sing in some very large

venues (St Paul’s and Liverpool Cathedrals, Southwell Minster,

St Albans Abbey), if your ceremony is taking place in a more

intimate setting I can perform without the need for a large PA

set up – I have my own amp and am just as comfortable with or

without a microphone. I would happily liaise with the venue

directly to make sure the sound is perfect for your day.

I’ve worked with backing tracks, organists, accompanists and

choirs, so please feel free to discuss with me the sound you are

looking for. I am available any day of the week and would welcome

the opportunity to discuss your needs one-to-one to make sure

everything goes exactly the way you would imagine.

I sing at weddings throughout Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire,

Suffolk and Essex.

Funerals

I sing pieces unobtrusively and sensitively for funeral services. The choice of music is absolutely down to the family and I am happy to sing anything that you feel is appropriate. I am willing to learn a particular song or piece especially for the day- it could be a classical piece, hymn, worship song or another work of your choice. I am very pleased to liaise with the funeral directors or the venue itself to make sure the service is exactly the way you want it to be. I can perform to a backing track, with an organist/pianist or unaccompanied. Microphones are always optional if you would like less volume.

Freelance & session work

I’m a highly experienced vocalist and have been singing professionally for around ten years. I have very good pitch and sight singing ability. I am able to pick up new music very quickly and specialise in backing vocals.

I bring enthusiasm and a good vibe to what I am working on, and I am flexible according to the needs of other musicians on the project.

I have worked with plenty of different musical styles (classical, mainstream pop, soul, rock, funk, R&B, dance).

Alongside session singing and studio work, I'm also available to dep in function bands as a lead singer or backing vocalists for weddings and other special occasions.
